Overview
The Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP) is a uniquely Oregon document that has been developed to set out a set of actions that Oregonians have identified as steps to a safer travel environment.

The document also serves as the state of Oregon's Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP),
a document required by federal law.  Our current 2004 TSAP is now six years old, and it's time for us to revisit the actions and goals to be sure we are still on course.

The current stage of the process is to make people aware of the need for updating, and start the process of gathering extensive input from Oregonians of all walks.
